Advance Reader Copies

I am offering a limited number of advance reader copies to readers who are willing to read the book in full and leave an honest, considered review at or shortly after launch. This is not a promotional free download, and it is not intended for casual sampling.

The book is a long-form, character-driven work of hard science fiction with a philosophical centre. It is slow in places, concept-heavy in others, and more concerned with ideas, agency, and consequence than with pace or spectacle. If you are primarily looking for a fast thriller or a light genre read, this is unlikely to be a good fit.

What this involves

You receive an advance copy of the book at no cost.

In return, I ask that you read it in full and, if you are able, leave a thoughtful review on Goodreads or Amazon. There is no expectation of positivity — only seriousness and good faith.

If you begin reading and discover the book is not for you, there is no obligation to continue. It is better to step away than to leave a disengaged or incomplete review.

How access works

Advance copies are distributed via a service called BookSirens, which manages downloads and review timelines on behalf of authors. BookSirens is simply the delivery infrastructure.

Scope and timing

Advance copies are available for a limited period ahead of the April launch. At present, the programme applies to the first book in the Proximal God series. The second book will be available in February or March.
